Torque Converter Reconditioning

At Aceomatic we are experts in torque converter repairs and overhauls.  The Torque Converter is an integral part of the automatic transmission, taking the place of the clutch in a manual transmission.  To successfully repair them requires machinery to accurately open the converter and then after the parts are replaced to be able to weld the unit closed.  It is important that there are no leaks and the runout on the unit is within specifications.  Torque converters too are evolving technology and Aceomatic's membership of the US based Torque Converter Rebuilders Association (TCRA)  ensures that we are kept up to date with the latest units and repair methods.
